Grant Taylor of The Herald-Dispatch Previews North Texas

North Texas goes into 2016 as a virtual unknown – from scheme to personnel to identity.Given how bad the team has been, it might not be a bad idea to just wipe the slate completely clean and start over.

He’s not wrong.

Junior running back Jeffrey Wilson became the season’s offensive highlight, rushing for 830 yards despite missing the first two games of the season and the non-existent passing attack that allowed the opposition to load up on the run. His best contest came against Marshall when he rushed for 138 yards on 17 carries in a 30-13 loss. In that game, he showed explosiveness and maneuverability in the hole.

I mentioned this in the MGN Slack conversation we had about this. I think he can crack 1000 if he doesn’t get hurt.

This is one of the better beat-writer previews I’ve seen. I like it a bit more than the SBN one that is stat-heavy but seems like it is more #content filling than anything.
