Two-Deep Released in Game Notes for LSU

The two deep was released as part of the game notes. Those can be found here. Bret Vito has thoughts here.

Mine are here:

With Tiger Stadium – Death Valley- in Baton Rouge, LA being the intimidating place it is, and North Texas having such little success there since 1999, it is no wonder that Dan McCarney went with the slightly more experienced guys at some positions. Namely, Coleman Feeley, SR, over LaChris Anyiam, JR, and wait WHAT?! Zac Whitfield at CB over DQ Johnson and Devante Davis? Well, I see someone has been playing well at practice.

Or someONES haven’t been. Or something. Really this doesn’t mean much. Although getting the starting nod after a tough spring practice is rewarding, dropping passes and blowing assignments will get you benched much quicker. It is a tough climb to the mountain top but a quick trip to the bottom. I’m talking about depth charts here.

Congrats to the starters, and may the best man play.

Other Tidbits from the game notes: This is the 11th straight year UNT has opened the season on the road and the third time we have faced the #1 team in the nation to start . . . That game against MTSU was our best offensive and defensive game in a long time … Yes I know I’m stating the obvious . .
