The problem with being a small-time operation is that road trips can be more distracting than informative. Yours Truly has been here in Denton since Friday morning. Since the UNT Soccer team is awesome-sauce I figured the Woman and I would take in the game against Abilene Christian. The team looked awesome, scored three goals, and bossed the midfield. Jackie Moreau had a few awesome, thunderous kicks that impressed. She had an assist to Karla Pineda on a ridiculous free kick from midfield.
Unfortunately I’m just getting to write this down now on account of the tasty beers that are served in local establishments, the early-ass-hell football game yesterday and the resulting exhaustion that beer+sun produces.
So here is this late dispatch from the Holiday Inn as I prepare to get breakfast, set my fantasy football lineups, and find some coffee. I will be at the 1pm match vs Vandy at the Mean Green Soccer Complex to see if UNT squads can have a perfect weekend.
