We are all watching the ACC Championship game for one reason: Seth Littrell. While watching we got one reference from Chris Fowler: “Littrell leaving after this to take over the not-so-Mean-Green”.
It’s such an easy reference. I rolled my eyes. George Dunham took a stronger exception to it.
And there's the "not so Mean Green" reference. So easy.

Thanks for the shout out Fowler, "The not so Mean Green"? It's cool, we realize you are the not so play-by-play Chris Fowler

I’ll leave the AP-style context articles to the official chroniclers.
Here is Scott Sidway’s post.
Here is Brett Vito’s post.
Most intriguingly, here is the official site of the new coach: CoachSethLittrell.com.
There you can find quotes from such luminaries as Bob Stoops, Mike Leach, Larry Fedora, Gronk, Kevin Wilson, Sonny Dykes and more. He comes highly recommended, to put it mildly. My favorite quote is this one, from Cody Lattimer:
I think he was actually there my 1,000-yard year I had, so of course I’m excited about that.
I always enjoy uncertainty in glowing reference letters.
In short, he knows offense, knows Texas enough to convince the powers that be that he can recruit. Mike Leach says he loves to hit the road and recruit so I imagine he will at the very least do the same here, if not fill the staff with like-minded guys. The press conference is scheduled for Monday. Right now, we’ll watch him try to bring his guys back against this tough Clemson defense and try to enjoy some positive news for the program.
Later this week, and pretty much throughout the offseason we’ll deep dive this thing. The future is bright.
