Rivals: Graham Harrell to USC

Some time ago 247Sports’ Inside Carolina published a report that current North Texas Offensive Coordinator Graham Harrell was going to UNC. Well, that turned out to not be the case. Whether it was close or not is still unanswered.

Yesterday Adam Maya of the USC Rivals site published news that Harrell is in “deep discussions” with the Trojans. Bruce Feldman, one of the first national guys to debunk the UNC move has confirmed the movement with an added note that Oklahoma State is interested.

Okie State just hired a guy to be their OC, so it looks like it is USC or back to Denton, for Graham.

The coaching carousel has mostly ended for this go-around, and so it will be interesting to see the direction that head coach Seth Littrell goes in finding the replacement. The annual coaching convention was held in early January, so he had a chance to rub shoulders with some of the brighter minds in the profession while in San Antonio.

The offense returns Mason Fine and other weapons not named Jalen Guyton and should be good again. It would not surprise me to see someone promoted and Littrell hire a new position coach.

Nothing has been formally announced and so we’ll wait.
