True. Always wanted to go there. Same with the old Sportatorium, but they bulldozed it (and Texas Stadium) before this user was ever able to step foot in there....
So, this user will, hopefully, experience their first-ever UNT Bowl win on January 3rd, after being a fan of the program for just over a decade by then. Grew up a Longhorn fan, but away from Texas (though, am OG from the area, just moved at a younger age), went to UTA (garbage) for two years then UNT for two before dropping, remained on-campus for a year, then moved back east. Have been trying to return in recent years, but life's gotten in the way. First UNT game experience was a win, at-home in Denton, against SMU. So, it's kind of coming full-circle to see their first bowl win with muh own eyes be at SMU's stadium, ha!
Am targeting UNT across-the-board on parlays and for the playoffs, SMU over PSU, fwiw. Splitting on IND/ND, UT across (betting the house against UGA after their bye), and rolling with OSU to round out the opening round.
UNT against the upstart TXST AT SMU's stadium is really the Universe aligning and saying that this program is going to win this game and that this bettor should have them across the board on all college football tickets! GMG!
It’s kind of sad there aren’t any bowl games at the Cotton Bowl

yeah that’s why I thought it was so cool to see NT play on new year’s day in the cotton bowl. Good times.
