Former Bishop Dunne safety (Dallas, TX) and one-time UCA player Nick Nakwaasah was also on hand to watch North Texas dominate UTSA

He currently has offers from Temple, EKU, Tennessee-Chattanooga, among others. NT Linebacker coach Jim Gush, and cornerback coach Jared Holley are leading the contact. The latest word is that NT is sorting out the class and Nakwaasah is waiting to hear some good news from the staff.

No doubt that will be coming soon, as everyone is out on the recruiting trail this week.

This little highlight film shows a playmaker, a guy that likes to hit, and makes quick reads. Obvious caveats apply: it is a highlight film of the guy’s best plays. Still, they are good plays!

UNT “was nothing short of amazing” he says, “The facilities are top-notch from the indoor to the stadium I was in awe of the program.” While he is considering other program’s offers, “going to UNT would be ideal for not only me but my family as well. It would be a dream come true to come back home and represent my city!”

His thoughts on the game: “NT dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides, the blowout win showed a promising future for the Mean Green. The Murphy twins are elite pass rushers and I’d love to play next to them”

Defensive coordinator Phil Bennett will need more playmakers as the Mean Green look to continue the defensive turnaround into next season. Nakwaasah is on the staff’s radar.
