The UNT 2016/17 basketball schedule is out and boy is it just okay. Given that we all know that competing in this conference is not a given, and the fact that UAB and ODU are both way better than our squad, seeing any progress is more important than exactly against who and when.
It is very cool that UNT will take on Texas Tech in Lubbock, but we already knew that was going to happen. The CUSA schedule does not really excite me too much as the games from mid December to early January are not going to be filled with fans. Everyone is on holiday or at a Bowl game or not quite ready for basketball to really get hyped.
Nov 15 vs Texas Tech should interest everyone. Dec 3 vs UTA at the Super Pit should be fun. If everything comes up Milhouse UNT could be hosting a CUSA Championship Football game that day.1
